The Pacific Path in secondary schools - program Structure

First Phase: Conflict Resolution

This program, consisting of three 75 minute facilitated workshops, aims to develop a student's ability to resolve conflicts peacefully.

Second Phase: Mediation

During the second phase of the program, a mediation service is implemented within the school. Although the objective of the program is to implement a peer-mediation service, the school may choose to first implement an adult-mediation service.

As such, the facilitation guide describes the process for implementing an adult-mediation service, as well as the process for implementing a peer-mediation service.

The English version is scheduled to be available in 2006-2007.
